theres a lotta shit hardcore thats about as hard as knitting your niece a sweater for her bday and about as imaginative and original as someone on here making a chavs or rankin thread.
i used to worry about it, mainly how raves i used to love became unenjoyable cos i didnt like the tunes anymore.
but at the end of the day for me not liking them loadsa others do, why not just leave them to it cos for all the moaning on the internet your doin on this wkd summer day nothings gonna change.
and theres a perfectly good answer staring any bored uk raver in the face, well it might not work for them but it has for me and many others.
CHOOSE GABBER
quality events and getting more of them all the time, real up for it open minded ravers who'll stomp to all varities of different techno and hardcore from across the globe.
rarely got any cash for records since i got my own place but any times if i do i'd jus need to look on sector-1, phuturerave, midtown and that and it would be gone.
every single week theres loadsa quality releases worth buying, jus gotta look further than the last few tracks on scott brown mixes and really get into other countries scenes.
but if you'd rather listen to special d then moan about hardcore bein shit and dancy then go ahead, is only you thats missing out.

i dont blame them really
not everyone has a phd in the sub genres of dance music, the only difference between the most popular style of hardcore over here and commercial dance is the speed
to my ears anyway, all cheesy, dancy, bouncy etc.
*Edit
and special d = techno
is about as far away from techno as you can get in electronic music, try playin special d at a techno rave over here see what would happen lol

AATW will have the rights to 'Come With Me' I reckon, but I don't see why that stops it getting released as long as Special D gets some of the royalties...
And I wouldn't of thought anyone owned the rights to the 'Badger Badger Badger' sample but who knows...

as far as my understanding goes, the "badger badger badger" thing would be the property of the guys who made it. i heard that there was some sort of impending law suit threat if the track was released. altho i dont see why anyone would do that, when its just more publicity for them... as well as royalties...
and as for hixxy's remix "come with me", raver baby seem to hav a fairly good relationship with AATW (you're shining & so real being on both labels) tho i could be wrong. i dont see any reason why it shouldn't be eleased as it would make prettyy good sales...more money for everyone, why complain?
