the tracks you need to get started with are ones from 91-94 because that's REAL hardcore, what you listen to now is sped up pop music with the name 'hardcore' not quite sure why they call it hardcore now. anyway, take advice from the old-ravers not the twats on this site who are most likley trendies or clubbers.

Don't listen to 95_was_the_time, he's just a troll in a sulk, probably because he's too lazy to look further than HMV to find new hardcore that he will like...

i reccommend having a look at a few different labels so can hav a general idea what sorta stuff is out there b4 u decide.
if i were limited to 3 different labels to give u an idea of what's available, i'd say look at evolution, raver baby, and nu energy... just to hav a broad spectrum of whats out there, with minimal hunting around :P

I got some ruff stuff [more like hardstyle tho] I could send ya, am sure it won't be as mental as some of the stuff the guys might send ya...when I first started listening, I could not stand any of the harder shit, it took a while to like...but now I absolute love it, finally after like a year or summat.
And I've heard of Dj Zitkus, could just imagine that name being overlayed onto a tune like "deejay zitkus" in a high-pitched voice...reckon he's some wank dude like rankin????????
