As most of you probably already know, I have always been a huge fan of Dune and other German happy hardcore projects from around 1995-1996. Dune actually inspired me to start producing in the first place.
Now, a while back I was browsing through my old tracks, and found my first finished tune from early 1998 (I was 14 at the time) called "My Love". It has been downloadable on mp3.com back in the days when my alias was (how original, heh) 4Ever. Feeling nostalgic, I decided to touch it up a bit.
I have changed only one riff, the rest was already there. In order to keep that "old" feel, I kept most of the original samples, including the vocals which I recorded with a free PC microphone in my old bedroom on my Dell Dimension 486 at age 14. 
So here you go. A free give-away for all the old Dune lovers out there. All four of them!

Big fan of dune....love all of their stuff!!
Would say that your incredibly talented but that would just be repeating what a thousand others have already said...What the hell, I'll say it anyway!!
Your extremely talented!! 
Love all of the tunes you've made so far- Right down my street. Can't beat old cheese with the uplifting singing and pianos!!
Oh, And that's a bloody amazing piece of work for someone aged 14!!! (Even though you touched it up a bit.)

very DUNEish to be honest, did you reproduce the samples or did you 'borrow' them? =P

Reproduced them. I don't like borrowing, especially if I'm going for a similar style. May as well rip the entire tune then, innit.

well she did reproduce some of the sounes Dune used.
if my previous post didnt point it out, I like the tune, and very nice singing for a 14 year old girl ;)

Nah, by "reproduce" I mean trying to get a similar kind of sound, i.e. give the same feel to it, rather than copying the sounds to make it sound identical. No fun in that. :)
The aim was indeed to create a Dune-ish track as a tribute, since Dune are no more. :'(

I have produced LOADS of tunes like this throughout the years, and I still do, in between modern releases.
I don't think I will put up the old stuff for download again unless I have touched them up. The originals are about 8 years old, so they could do with a new mixdown and some better synths.
The new or touched up ones will probably go up as free downloads, but I can't make any promises yet. It's very likely, though!
