Sorry everyone but i know most people hate live CD's with MC's but when I need to hear my hardcore, its always my live tapes and CD's I go for! especially after a night out! If theres tunes on Studio albums you really like then buy them! but for a proper f**king hardcore mixing you can't beat live!

Live is good, although most of my CDs are studio mixed.

One live CD I have is Slipmat- Live at The Sanctury, Milton Keynes- Summer 1996 which I got in Febuary 2004 and got me into Happy Hardcore! As I have said before, if it wern't for the guy who sold me it, I wouldn't be here talking to you guys!

no preference... except, if its got an MC and its not part of the original track, just he's in the mix, then i wont be listening to it for more than 10 seconds.

MCing ruins tunes for me, if they wanted MCing they'd have put it in originally

hate it with avengance lol

I prefer studio mixes as I have little interest in the technical DJ aspect, and have far more interest in sound quality.

Therefore, studio mixes which are flawlessly mixed, mastered and sound tremendous please me more than dubiously recorded live sets w/ people screaming over the music.

Live stuff on a cd just doesnt cut it for me.
Like live is good live played at that volume along with the atmosphere, but like CDJay, the 'sound quality' is what i go for.

i dont like listening to live stuff on CD, it just doesnt give you teh same feeling as being there, nearly all my CDs are studio mixed apart from a tidy boys one i have..

live but with no mc'ing

makina do great ones! only people with good sound systems appreciate good sound quality, and not very many people have (in comparison to those that do i mean)

live mixes just seem to have so much more energy, and they show the dj for how good they actually are

I will always much prefer live mixes with MC'ing over any studio recorded mix, there is so much more atmosphere :)
