yeh it varies. I never loose my memory (unfortunately!) but my other half does most times til I remind him!  And Ionosphere I do enjoy the drugs to keep me going at a rave and then I usually go to an after party at someone's house and enjoy the mind enhancing bit ie talk codshit for hours

In the early days (89 - 94) I'd easily neck 10-15 pills at every rave I went to but nowadays I just can't stand taking them... vile little things.
I find now that I enjoy myself much more going to raves straight than I ever did getting totally twatted.
I'm not saying you shouldn't take them (each to their own) but if you do, at least do it in moderation.

I'm talking about mdma when I say pills, not mda or mde, I dunno about those two, but memory loss isn't a primary effect of mdma. Maybe if you have far too many you might not remember anything, but the same could be said for most things.

True, but i've taken alot of e's, can't remember exactly how much, and i tend to remember what i did in the morning, not defending anyone here or anything, just saying that i've never forgot everything the night before on just e's.

I have constantly been dismayed and surprised at the lack of 'enlightenment' that people achieve
when they've used substances that could have allowed them insights and understanding
if only they had the desire to see or the intelligence to wonder.

I could take 20 pills in a night and be fine whereas a guy with a weak heart could take 1 and die.

You wouldn't be fine for long if you kept taking that quantity!
Regarding memory loss - It does cause short term memory loss but that's in general not on the night. People can forget what happened during an evening (happened to me first time I done it) but it's uncommon for someone taking a sensible dose.
I can go to a rave sober now but I used to find it hard when I was a bit more "on it".
