=o I want that track! I got an idea! Why not download it a pirated copy ;).

T-T i hate ordering vinyl. I'd rather buy MP3. Silver setup a digital download store for digital DJs like me (Serato Scratch Live FTW, Final Scratch FTL).

Basically "for the win" was coined when people on Gamefaqs.com started saying "Mass Carriers FTW". Mass carriers as in the aircraft in the RTS Starcraft. It was the most expensive unit to build and such and all the n00bs thought it was the best cus it was the most expensive but they are large and bulky and basically sucked unless you were good. So it turned into a running joke and eventually people started using FTW in other things like "Chuck Norris FTW" and later FTL was made to mock FTW.

Nowadays FTW is kinda like saying the best. Like what i was saying Scratch live is the best. It's kinda like that.

FTL isn't as harsh as saying it sucks but when it's FTW compared to FTL it just means one is better than the other. I don't mind final scratch but it's too bugged.

It's mental that such a good song is made from a prank call.

"I like boys...What's your DJ name?.."
"Gammer"
"Gammer ga ga, Gammer doo doo"

lol

How about going into a bit more depth on this subject!!

I been using final scratch since day 1 (had it the day it hit the shops in the UK)

and after all this time i've yet to encounter any problems, as for scratch live i have never used it or saw anyone using it,

do you use it? if so can you explain to me what makes that better, what extra features it has and so on

Also heres a couple of quick question for you

1 Who was voted the worlds No. 1 dj in 2005...................
2 What does this dj use when playing live........................
3 Who is 1 of the biggest techno djs in the world...............
4 Everytime i've saw him play he was using what..............

I aint saying scratch live aint better than FS it could well be, but i would just like to know in your opinon whatmakes it better

answers

1 Paul Van Dyk
2 Final Scratch
3 Richie Hawtin aka Plastiman
4 Final Scratch

Rather than just slate a product at least say give some details on why you don't like it

PVD no longer uses Final Scratch. He now uses 2 power books. One containing Serato Scratch Live and the other with Albeton Live 5.

With Serato, there is very little lag if any especially if the buffer is turned up. Even with the buffer at lowest, you can still scratch with it. Many people are working with Serato (mainly hip hop) and most of them are also turntablists and scratch fanatics. The reason why they turn to Serato is because it was tailored with the turntablist in mind which in effect, what covers them, covers the average person using a turntable as they use the turntables to extreme measures.

You might know DJ Jazzy Jeff, the guy that works with Will Smith. He uses Serato.

If you want more info on the capabilities of it, i suggest you check this review. It's called the Digital Showdown with where they put the main Digital solutions with the CDX (not really digital...HDX is), FS2 and SSL.

It's a good read with videos showing the issues. Check it out.

uh last time I checked final scratch 2 fixed to the lags...so as long as you know how to set up a loop there's no problems

and I really don't think people should choose a certain product just because a certain dj ie van dyke (who I personally feel is pants) uses it =P
