It's called English, not "raver".

I thought it was ok number 16.. There definatly needs to be something fresh to replace the stale trance sound. People are getting over the Euro sound. Needs to be fresh innovative productions instead of the same old trance riffs that have been repeated countless times. Poeple like Robbie Long, Joey Riot and Seduction seem to be trying new things.
If producers don't stop using the same old trance sounds, theres going to be a demise in hardcore.

It surprised me that Bonkers 16 went back down to a 3 CD album. But i would choose quality over quantity any day. I really liked it, and i was mostly pleased with Scott Brown and Gammer's CD because it wasnt all gabba. Shame Dougal got kicked off this time Cant have them all tho.
Bring on 17!!!!

Sorry not been on for a while, i agree though, Rapid Bass, classic dj's (hixxy and the like) are slipping in the ratings cos' they keep doing the same thing over and over, Don't get me wrong, i like most of it (the theme:>) not limited to that, but listen to a few of his other songs, the riffs are so similar! we definetly need sum new material.

the one thing bonkers is missing is gabber + freeform if they were to introduce more of the different styles of hardcore people would get more interested in them and leave behind all the clubland rubbish coming out (vocal). a great big dollop of distorted bass and awe inspiring riffs would completely change the face of hardcore as well . creating a lot more die hard fans and ever growing the popularity of bonkers.

I disagree.
If it's a CD full of freeform, many people will moan (including myself) and the sales will probably go down. A little of everything can please all.

Bring back the Hard Kicks and breaks but mix it with some newer sounds too? Robbie Long and Stormtrooper have done a small bit of stuff which has a new feel to it but keeps the beats Hard. The whole Upfront/Uk/Mainstream Hardcore scene is well past it's sell past date and in a few years would die off unless evolve into something new.
The new 'Acid' Sound in Freeform is also good so there should be no reason not too make the same Hardcore as 2003 IMO... Just keep the Hard kicks...
