as long as you can tell the difference of when you can have another and when you need to stop I don't see any harm in having a drink here and there...if you can remember the previous night, I feel that’s a fairly good judge of weather you had too much.
If you start forgetting things you did, become violent/a neanderthal, or wake up in a pool of vomit/urine...I think that's an indication you need to stop

We all need a way to realx and wind down, but when it comes to the point where your no longer relaxed when getting wasted then I think it's time to stop. No point in doing it for the sake of doing it.
Over the last few years I've cut out everything like that except for beer, and I'm slowly cutting down on that now aswell. I can't afford to drink when I'm in work the next day, and I don't want to drink and end up doing something stupid like arguing with my gf like I did a few weeks back. As for the other things, I just don't want to do anything like that again.
Seems like I've grown up a little bit recently 
Bah, who am I kidding? I'm just as childish as ever, I'm just more responsible

Although i have calmed down quite a bit since i was younger, now days i only get wasted when i'm going out clubbing or to a party or something along that lines,
gone are the days of getting ****ed up on week nights with no where to go, but saying that when i do get wasted i certainly make up for it

Its not a good thing at all really!
Whats point of getting wasted as you cant be responsible of your actions!
You put yourself at risk and sometimes being 'wasted' your an easy target to be assaulted, robbed, made fun of or being blamed for something that you have no recollection of!
You could say that its the same if your under the influence of drugs as you just dont have any control of what your doing!
You just have to think is it really worth losing your self by going over the top with alcohol/drugs!

I haven't drank in over two weeks! But there is a home comming party for me when I go home. I am leaving USA 2moz and would be back in the UK for Thursday afternoon...

If in moderation then it can be a good thing socially but if you let it, it can really mess you're life up.
