1. How was you introduced to hardcore?
I used to listen to quite a bit of trance and did quite a bit of illegal downloading (nomores of that!). One day I happened on a really fast freeformy track that I had no clue what the name of it was. A couple of years later I found DI.fm and thus the hardcore channel... rest is history.
2. What genres did you listen to before hardcore?
metal, classical, trance, hard dance, alternative.. lot of stuff.
3. Have you always preferred electronic music?
I didn't start off listening to it cause no one I knew listened to it, but I have liked it since I knew of it.
4. Do you think your love for hardcore will ever die?
I might stop listening to whats new but I will always love my records/albums/mixes I've gotten over the years.
5. Your favourite sub-genre of hardcore and favourite tune.
As of now I've been mostly listening to makina and freeform but I like all spectrums of hardcore. Favorite tune? Too many and constantly shifting.

1. How was you introduced to hardcore?
When happy hardcore was big in Holland you'd hear it on the radio, on TV, and especially at kids' parties. I didn't like it much at first. I always liked the sweet melodies, but I wasn't keen on the beats and the what I thought were "boring" bits with acid riffs and stuff, like midsections. So I limited myself to liking the breakdowns. I got used to it, and now I love all aspects of hardcore more than anything.
2. What genres did you listen to before hardcore?
Folk, pop, hard rock, eurodance. And later trance, but that was after I got introduced to hardcore.
3. Have you always preferred electronic music?
No, I used to like folk and pop. Later on the weird sounds and synths of Cappella, 2 Unlimited, and Culture Beat intrigued me, and that's how I got into electronic music.
4. Do you think your love for hardcore will ever die?
Nah, I've been producing hardcore for 9 years, and still love doing it just as much as I did before. I'm more someone who will sit at home, listening to it than going out raving though. When I do go out, I find myself listening to the music, rather than dancing to it. I prefer to appreciate the DJs skills and the tune selection. At home I like writing and listening to tracks that are musically complex, rather than just dancefloor.
5. Your favourite sub-genre of hardcore and favourite tune.
Favourite subgenres (love both just as much, but German happy hardcore is what got me into hardcore, so it's got the nostalgia factor):
- German happy hardcore (like Dune, Blumchen, Scooter, Das Modul, Sunbeam, RMB)
- UK hardcore
Favourite track:
Contraption - Higher, Forever

2. Uh. Dance I guess.
3. Oh no, America's music market is completely dominated by guitars and whiny junk I don't like.
