It really gets on my nerves when a remix like that is done. It will be more well known than the hardcore version, therefore people take hardcore out of the picture.

So **** if they make a scouse version, they hear a song or melody they like but obviously they cant play the hardcore version in their scouse set due to the bpm so they make a version that they can play.
Its not as if a hardcore artist has never heard a club speed track and made a hardcore version of it is it
The other week I saw the advert for Clubland 9, and I thought "ah they've ripped off Scott Brown's Fly With You", turns out that was the original and Scott Brown had used the vocals from it to make his tune.....

Too right, i only found out that last year aswell! ahwell tho!!!
see i used to piss and moan bout this sort of stuff last year... about how hardcore ent doing itselfs any favers by ripping shit off!!!
oh and then i started DJing lol
These days I'm extremly openminded with all Electronic music!
people will lend shit of each other... and mkae diffrent version of a classic track they like from a diffrent genre....
its called "Remixing" and this can only be done with Electronic music :D - and one reason i love... you can make anything out of something "old" sound "new" or make diffrent styles and version of 1 peace of music, to suit someone else!!!
the posabilltys are endless!!!
at the end of the day what is Electronic music (dance) all about?
THE CLUBS/RAVE!!!
THATS WHERE THE MUSIC IS BORN!!!
AND MOST THE TIME THE MUSIC STAYS!
the music is for people... you can't forget that!

Cheers for the link Chris, some decent bouncy tunes on that set.

Hahahahaha innit mate, i've been through this argument on here a few times some people just choose to forget that.
Like it's alright for there favourite producers to rip off anything they fancy but when a hardcore tune gets scoused up they start crying about it.
That "see the light" tune gets cained at all uk raves thats on this set was originally commercial dance, a lot of people on here would assume that it's the other way around

no where near asgood as the original eh
Not into either, the vocal really doesnt agree with me.
Enjoyed quite a few of other tunes on the set though, scouse aint for everyone but some of the good stuff reminds me of the good bits of old hardcore and hard house put together and i think its alright. Not something i could listen to often but is good for a change
Been diggin this version of "don't go away" thats been released recently

Sounds OK I guess just not something I'd listen to... If I'm gonna listen to something slower than hardcore I'd opt for something deeper or more complex.
