Then she replied "No, I wasn't implying that, I was just trying to answer your question".
From that I gathered I had ****ed up the interview, creating a negative vibe when I should have been more positive, but what else could I say at that point? I had to correct her just in case that was what she thought. It seems I dug my own hole then threw myself into it.
Im gutted though as this job pays 24K a year, which is 9K more than I said I wanted, and the job itself is perfect for me (I did say that about 10 times in the interview).
Hope you get the job mate....might not be all that bad. In a twisted sort of way, they might be impressed with confronting them? Not many people would do that...DIdn't seem like a major f**k-up .... Just you preventing them from getting the wrong end of the stick.

Dang that sucks! but dont worry, there will be plenty more opportunities... the other day i was laughing with my friend about how i didnt get a job at Hungry Jacks (Burger King) when i first applied. Hungry jacks ffs i was like what is wrong with me? i was like 15/16 perfect age for them they would only have to pay me $5/hr! haha but then i eventually got my first job. also do any of your friends work? you never know someone may be able to put in a good word for you or let you know when some positions become available :)

and also you have to put in the effort for things, you cant just kick back and complain that things arent going your way.
