Hey everyone!
I was kinda thinkin what I love about hardcore. What do other people love about it? Is it the vocal? Piano? Awesome hard beats? Synths?
What sound really gets you goin???

Euphoric, powerful pads with fast synth riffs. It's very uplifting yet not cheesy

It's the anticipation of the synth that I love.

The hard kicks used in many happy Hardcore and Bouncy Techno tracks! The whole stomping sound which makes even the most cheesy stuff sound hard! Boucy Techno rifts (or whatever they are called) and spped up vocals, breaks and scratches add to the whole effect! Most of this was at it's peack during the 1994-1997 era and today only a small handfull of tracks have such a feel although a lot of Freeform uses hard kicks which sounds good!
IMO I think Hardcore sounds best with hard beats but I am sure you have heard me mention this many times before!

For me...
its anything that is Euphoric (Emotional & Uplifting), Energentic (Fast & Hard)
but the key to every tune, and something i always listen out for... is just what my man here has said!
The "Anticipation" of that final "POWERFUL" lead!
This all comes down to one word!!! PROGRESSION!!!
If a tune isn't "Progressive" then you can forget it! I Ent Intressed...
what i mean by progressive... is basiccly something is always happening! (its not boring in other words)
Changes are acaring in the track every 4-8 steps!
evan if its just kick fills after every 4 steps (instead of 16 like most hardcore these days) or incorparating a harder claps for 2nd parts of the lead...
SOMETHING NEES TO BE HAPPENING!
it changes your rythem, keeps you moving! and overule keeps you intressed!
All when that final lead kicks in!!! oh yes!!! S'all been worfit then 
lets just say you better clear the dance floor

i think euphoric&energetic with build up that makes u rush, and when it drops u go mental <--- how hardcore should be!
