I've never been a whizz with computers, only known a few basics!
Anyways, i'm trying to download a water-park short film from the internet to give to some of my family to watch on dvd. So this would mean burning it onto a blank dvd cd right? I've downloaded the short film itself, but i can't seem to convert it onto disc! How do i do this?
I've tried using RealPlayer, Windows Media Player, Itunes and InstantCD+DVD (basically like Nero). When i try to copy the material onto the disc, it won't let me! It keeps saying that i need to 'insert the destination disc.' Which i already have done, and it's not a faulty disc because i've tried it with more than one, and i definetly know i have the correct type of disc to burn dvd material onto. Is it my computer, or is there something i have missed. Please help i've been trying to figure it out for ages now, cheers.

what is the file format? it might need to be converted
how large is the movie file? it might be too large
do u have a dvd burner? pretty silly trying to burn dvd's on a cd burner
try changing your recorder to dvd-rw not cd-rw
erm... other than that... i dunno
