it gets hard. i mix hardcore, DnB, house, trance and breaks. although recently i have been going mad on my DnB. there are 3 quality vinyl shops near to me, which makes buying the tunes very hard. i usualy onli go into the one, as they are propa sound in there and pick out reserved tunes 4 me (as well as lettin me watch v footie) so i spend the madurity of my money in there. but even then its hard to select the tunes.
you find that they stock the latest stuff every week, and i love 90% of what they chuck on the decks.
i could quite easily spend my months wages in a day.

used to spend about 50£ a week on tunes, but recently only buying bargain classics second hand and stuff, would rather dig and hunt around for quality tunes than buying tunes i am gonna get bored of a few plays ater buying them ...
ps: plus i spin freeform, scottish / N.I. / dutch bouncy techno, 1994 - 1997 happy hardcore, jungle, hard / tech step, old trance [ 1996 - 2001 ], techno / schranz, hard trance, hard nrg, hard house/dance, hard style, and gabber ... so buying tunes for all those genres can eat up the cash lol

i couldnt find enough records to spend that much a month even if i tried, maybe i could do it for 2 consecutive months, but i mean..what do you guys buy? inless u buy off ebay i really dont see how u buy 10-20 records every month
It's easy. Trust me.
I spend about 400$ a month on records on average
about 300$ for records from stores and about 100$ for used records
I have many, many hundred records (500+...not sure anymore) and I still consistently want new ones/more. You could say I'm addicted but it's not like you can vary your sets if you only have a couple hundred records to choose from.
Plus I don't only play the new UK hardcore stuff...I also play old style HHC, freeform, etc.
and a bit of trance (but only classics and it's just for my personal pleasure)
You're telling me you wouldn't be able to find 20 records to buy every month? I don't see why not...
haha I just remembered this doesn't include all the legal downloads I get as well
:S
