This one goes to JSPR, Brian K, Xenochrome and Dj Terror for puttin some immense sets into my collection over the last few days.

This is the music that makes me love hardcore, been excellent to get full mixes without MC's.

A lot of folks on this site have probably only been into hardcore since 2000+ and old stuff to you's will most probably mean shit like shooting star, heart of gold, toytown etc. Basically just happy hardcore.

I seriously recommend you download all the mixes by the people above to get a picture of the various good hardcore made in the 90's.

JSPR = 2 mixes of dutch happy and bouncy style, very fun and smile on your face music. Glad to see you joined the site mate.

Xenochrome = Lovely old breaks and gorgeous pianos, proper raindance music to me and i loved it

Brian K = Been lookin forward to a Brian K mix for a long time. Just as i thought full on stompin bouncy techno with fun mixing, my fav of all the mixes and had a couple top tunes i'd never heard before.

Terror = Deathchant classics. Own quite a lot of the tunes of this label as i love the style, these are the real classics though. Set builds up from the bleepy industrial stuff through to savage hardcore techno by the end. Mixed spot on and i no how hard the deathchants can be . This is a lot darker than the other mixes so if your only really into happy and upliftin you probs wont like it, one for the real hardcore.

Anyway just to say really how much there appreciated, they'll be getting a lot of play for a long time.

Respect lads

He probably has put up more mate, infact there was a gammer one aswell twas pretty cool.

Must admit i only really download mixes if it looks like music i'll like, so a lot of them that get put on here i dont bother with that are probs done really well.

I'm just addicted to old hardcore to be honest, stuck in the past and i'm only 21 . Wasnt even ravin when these tunes came out but nothing hits the spot like the stuff on those sets for me.

I put up a classic hardcore mix a while ago, that was my latest one. Didn't get much response to be honest, altough I think it was one of my best yet.

Might do a full gabber mix sometime

Excellent mate will download the new set just now and let you no what i think.

You must have some collection of classics, the amount in both the sets so far is incredible.

Let me no what happens with the gig cos i'd definitely come and see you play out mate. I live near london so if it's anywhere near there your welcome to stay round my flat can have a mix with my tunes aswell.

I try and come to holland at least once a year cos i love the trance and hardcore, music and events are superb and always get a good laugh with the dutch ravers. I was at dancevalley this summer and was wanting to also make nightmare outdoors, but sadly i've not got the money to go to that anymore.

Am gutted cos it would be incredible, dutch quality MDMA with an oldschool happy room all outdoors. Next year i'm gonna organise myself better and make both events.

Got to agree! I've heard more mixes on this site that I like in the last few days than I've downloaded in 8 months! (apart from your Smurf sets, class) do love me MC's on sets now and again Chris! thats why I'm after Thunderdome 96 Dance or die! 3 Steps Ahead with MC Terminal is fantastic! I've got some of it on tape but would love the whole mix!
