After the thread about common members, basically folks that are here all the time i thought i'd start a thread about members who no longer post that you miss bein about.

Couple for me would be zippy and jester, both became good friends so i still see them the odd time for a laugh (not enough right enough, i need to get in touch)

But one boy i defo miss seein is Dave Murray for pure comedy value.

Whenever i saw he'd made a post would take a look at the topic and guaranteed would end up in hysterics at him rippin right into some idiot or other.

The boys patter was classic and he new good music.

Another for me would have to be Steve-O, we both joined about the same time and had a major love for the makina which was rare on here.

I remember when dj scott came on here we were both shocked what we thought of as a superstar dj would talk to mere mortals like us hahahaha.

More than that he was a good lad for a chat, either jokes or serious stuff and to say he was a few years younger than me i wouldn't have noticed it, he had his head screwed on well. Anyway still chat on msn the odd time i can be arsed loggin on and he's there, now at uni and still right into sport the last i heard.

Also a bit of respect goes to drop dead fred for some hysterical pisstakes and the "hixxys baseball cap" thread

Probs more i've forgot and a good few before my time, so anyone fancys refreshin my memory fire away.

That was a good laugh
Probably his only actually funny thread for me

I wish Comet still posted here

*edit*
Oh and Dave was a funny bastard. I was one "idiot" he ripped into when I first joined the forums.

There's a few i miss, more i don't miss - particularly the odd 'superstar DJ/Producer' who soon disappeared when they started to get some recognition.

But yes, it's Dave i miss most of all.

I'll think of more when i'm not tired!

Aye, Dave Murray AKA Daveo AKA Davez Cool was one of the best. I remember him being flamed for being a "spammer" when he first joined. It's funny to me now, especially when I see some of the spasms that frequent the board now.

I also miss the Insane Aussie Posse, namely Toxic and Strychnine. Winners of the first annual HHC.com Waffle Award and originators of the infamous STFU stick. I seem to remember one of our more serious threads which involved simon hiding in a fridge while several of us flung fish at each other. I also remember the follow up message from Silver telling us to "stop acting like a bunch of drunken idiots".

Ahhhh...memories.

Oh yeah...DJ Mouse...where did he get off to?

Sounds a wkd laugh mate i remember when i first joined a lot of you's talking about people you'd missed.

I think cos it had been a quiet time for hardcore and the internet wasnt as popular you would have got some right characters then and less "omg man pure chavs listenin to rankin cammy killin da scene, the future is dead" types.

Strychnine was made a mod shortly after the "fish incident".

Seemed to me that it might have been some sort plea bargain from Silver to get him to behave. He firmly denied it, though.

I feel quite intimidated posting on this thread might have something to do with those 5 stars ;)

drop dead fred was very entertaining, got slaged quite a bit too, couldnt really understand why. Maybe it was just his sense of humour, anyway the base ball cap thread was great :)
