this is my new stormtrooper, impact and joey riot tribute mix.

Can any one help when recording i have problems with getting the levels right. I am using the record channel on my mixer into the line in on my pc. I find I have to have the line input level set as low as possible. I also have to have the gain on the mixer set at around 1/4 which is alittle low to mix properly. Am I doing this right or should i be using the balanced output on my mixer?

cheers for the feed back guys.
i decided if more than 7 people say they will like it i will do the tribute mix part 2. i am thinkin maybe a tribute to hixxy, seduction and dougal '95-'97 featuring their tunes or remixes. I am open to requests i have a good collection.

Tribute 2 sounds like quite the idea.
Definitely do a mix with the tunes from the 95-97 area...please?!
Anything will do as long as it's got that tune 'santamaria' on it...fcuking love that tune!!

will sort a tracklist out later after work. but it is mixed on vinyl so all tunes are available to buy the only one that u maynot be able to is the joey riot white i have

The best way i found was to connect my PC via the booth out and just have the volume on that very low, if you do this that way you can have the gains on the channels and the master volume set as high as youwant without it affecting the sound quality of the mix
