I'm sure this topics been done before but i havent seen it in a long time.
Basically as the title says, the reason i put it in general not hardcore is i dont want to limit people to just hardcore raves.
Basically any genre a festival, concert, rave or whatever just explain what it was and why its your favourite.
Mine would have to be Dancevalley 2006 over in amsterdam, i went to the last one before it which would go in at number 2 on my list but this years just went an extra level.
60,000 people, three days and every type of dance music you can think of. Well there was a lack of hardcore bar a bit of cheesy gabber in the 24 hour tent but there was more than enough to keep me interested.
Thing that made it for me was basically everything, the size, the mix of people from all over the world, the dutch, the music and just walkin around a massive campsite totally dedicated to dance music.
So many things to keep you occupied a 24 hour rave/bar thing for when the festival wasnt open, extreme sports through the day, turntablism bits, hammocks and enough MaDMAn for anyone interested in that and dutch quality smoke for those into that.
I think about it every day and am just so glad i was part of it, walkin around the tents and chillin with diff groups of brits and irish i cant explain how much i enjoyed myself.
Went with a couple friends including zippy who used to use this site but spent most my time with diff people we met there as everyone had there own sleeping patterns.
Tried to meetup with jax off here in there but he had probs with his phone, and randomly spotting each other the words needle and haystack come to mind.
Anyway enough about mine jus pop down your stories i reckon will be a good laugh readin through them all.

does The HCT2 count as an event? If so reason - Re-united with some class people I had previously met, spent a week out in the fresh air, open to views which where amazing, spent the majority of the time pissed and falling in love, got loads of amazing and hillarious memories, spent listening to hardcore with splendid people. JUST ****ING ACE!
If not, HTID 14 was lush, last rave with my old mate stacey, met loadsa amazing people again including - hardcore4eva(mike) jester, you chris, k-hole, matt hard2get, giddy gosh. was all in all generally a wicked night
Slammin Vinyl in shepton mallet, NYE05 - travelled miles with the original raving crew, was emotional :) Met Compulsion and dougal there

HTID 12 for me :)
The event, arena, crowd, DJ line up everything about it was perfect. My legs were a bit shattered at the end though!

The 1st time I went to see The Prodigy - was about 13 and it was my 1st real gig (bar a couple of runrig things my mum took me to).
The atmosphere and the adrenaline from that show just blew me away and I will always remember it.....'Smack Ma Bitch Up' live was the highlight of my life.

They do put on quiet a show, i remember a few years back i saw them they were in this big bubble thing on the stage and as the music kicked in they exploded out.
Was incredible saw them at creamfields at the weekend wasnt that impressed, probs cos i prefer there older tunes but the show was a lot more basic and kept goin silent for ages.
@emjay wasnt really thinkin of campin but suppose it was an event kinda, few days in a field blastin out beats. Was definitely a good laugh both times i went anyhow

For me it was the HH weekender this year at Southport. It was like my first rave all over again. Loved every minute of it!

Not been to many raves, ive been to 4 upto now but by far the best rave i've been to is NYE NEC at birmingham was absolutely amazing, the queue for getting in was a bit of a let down but overall it was probably the best time of my life lol.
