Think at the minute it's that serato and final scratch that are getting used, similar idea but you can play vinyls aswell.
I want to get one of those programs myself, appeals to me a lot more than cd-jays

the idj is a piece of shit
there's no pitch fader and no pitch bend - making it impossible to beatmatch
the idj2 has a pitch fader so it's actually sortof useful...it's numark though, so it's probably horrible quality

pfft these are old news, I played with these last year...they weren't really designed with an actual dj in mind, more for people with a couple ipods who want to share tunes at a party.
seeing the idj2, I think they changed their mind on the actual dj thing though =P
