there are to many anthems to pick one or two, as always with the "Whats Your Fave... " topics
but "bring me round to love" has gotta be in there sumwhere.
As for Re-con being shit... I couldnt dissagree more, He is a top dj and a top producer. no one can argue that.

I just find alot of what Re-con makes sucks. It's mostly just timestretched gay hard dance anyways - same for Squad-E.
All the Raver Baby hardcore tracks by those two (except Free Again/Rok da Crowd) were available at 145 BPM before being hardcore tracks
i think a lot of re-cons tracks r great. who cares if they sound like "hard dance"?? they sounds bloody cool to me! and a lot of other ppl!
I didn't say they SOUNDED like hard dance
I said they ARE hard dance. Re-con's tracks on Monkey Bizniz were released as hard house tracks a couple of years ago
he just sped them up 30% and they got released as hardcore
Same for all the Squad-E and Re-con tracks on Raver Baby - they were released at 145 BPM two years or so ago
As for Re-con being a "top DJ"...maybe but were talking about PRODUCTION here, not DJing
and seriously, just listen to Bonkers 16 and tell me that Bonkers has been getting better since Re_con got on the train... the Hixxy mixes before that were way better
and yes, I love plenty of Raver Baby tracks but Re-con's tracks all sound the same and suck ass
Report to the bassline is the worst nu skool track EVER
sounds like pots and pans - I sincerely hope he put the cowbell in there as a comedic thing because of the SNL show with the cowbell

ask the greater hardcore audience and u'll probly get that sorta responce. its just coz there's a big raverbaby bashing crowd in here that its not the same
still good songs, and tbh i really dont care what u think
I don't expect you to care what I think. Anthems have to be like by alot of people with a very minority disliking them (or so I think). All the tunes you have picked as your "Nu Skool" anthems are all by members of the RBC when I refuse to believe sped-up Scouse House can create a Hardcore anthem.
All the true "Nu Skool" anthems of the are from Next Generation & Blatant Beats. Amazing vocal stompers!

Well Elements, to name a big one.
Forever, the n-trance version was trance before hixxy remade it.
also Castles
I have all the vinyls i just named so i'm not hating on the fact it sounds like sped up trance or anything, just pointing it out.

those are not "sped up trance"
they are actual remixes
my point here is that the Re-Con and Squad-E tracks are NOT remixes
they are the EXACT SAME track sped up 30%
how can you call a track that is hard house or wahtever a hardcore anthem?
by very definition that doesn't make sense
that's like saying if I play my Robert Miles - Children record on 45 rpm instead of 33 rpm you could call it a hardcore anthem because it still sounds good
guess waht...it's not hardcore so you can't or else thatd be retarded.
If you're gonna name hardcore anthems stick to tracks that are hardcore.

So you're saying 'Getting Better', 'Heartbeatz' and 'Save Me' aren't anthems?

I don't see how people can say raver baby have no anthems... Whether you like them or not it is a very (if not the most) popular hardcore label and they have had allot of anthems. That's a fact.
Personally I don't mind a few of Re-Cons tracks. Report to the bassline is actually a fantastic track IMO, it's something a bit different which is great. Also love The Sun & Insane. Don't really like any of Squad_E's stuff... Nothing really wrong with it it's well produced stuff really just find it does't grab me and I hate that fecking bassline.
