Heard that the last few Uproar tape packs will never be released, (Chemical Reaction, Bristhday Bash, Atmosphere (HN3 Lanch Party, Hard 2 The Core Launch Party) although some better news is that they're trying to get CD packs off the ground, this I have never heard of previously with live Hardcore events (D&B yes but never Hardcore) unless its from a few years ago, maybe to do with UK artists and copyrights they want on tracks? Either way this is good news, has anyone heard anything from Hardcore Heaven or HTID regarding CD packs, & has anything changed apart from the minds of the people behind UPROAR?

because after SV did a cd pack there was uproar from djs and producers.
As tape packs are illegal supprisingly people didnt like have cd quality versions of unreleased tracks avaliable.

Well then why is it any different in the Hardcore scene to the Drum & Bass one, also there's so much MCing over the top of most of the sets, it wouldn't be the same as having the track on it's own, let alone all the background noise at a rave which would make the sound a lot lower than CD quality.

i can only tell you what happened not why dnb is different.
I know that sharkey was at one point on about refusing to play if he was recorded.
Quite rightly too. Producers dont get any money from tape packs. Imagine if you were a producer that made music for a living but didnt dj. You dont recieve any money at all from the promoters but they make money out of you buy selling copies of your tracks.
There is a big topic on USH about from when SV released the cd pack

If theyre trying to get them off the ground it must mean that theyre putting pressure on artists somehow to change their stance, wither that or finding some who will and will be missing out sets in the new packs, which will be criminal!

You'll probally find all the DJ's played their own material or material copyright to their labels and then asked for a very large DJ play fee if they were recording it.

Vibealite promised fully licensed CD packs a while ago, good to see they're starting get them released now.
Great idea - means we get better quality recordings, and the DJ's/Artists get what they deserve.

Especially Uproar as they normally have wicked line-up, (also Stormtrooper B2B Robbie Long & Sharkey B2B Marc Smith, Brisk, Sy, Joey Riot, Re-Con, Vibes & Livelee at the next Vibealite (Winter Hardcore Sensation) - should be a wicked CD pack if it makes it!)
