it was my least fav of the three cds, although it was good that he incorporated a few different styles, wish a longer version of written in the stars was on aswell, thats a crackin tune. i didnt dislike it tho 6/10.

my only moan, as i mentioned earlier, is that i didn't like the short 'medley' effect. you just don't have time to get into it. if they're exclusives, you're obviously only hearing a small % of the track. i loved 'MAKE IT REAL' it was about to climax and then pulled out!! ...why does that sound familiar?

scott brown impressed me, as i haven't really heard much he does. plus only 18 tracks they each had longevity, less is more! energy as eclectic as ever. i think the diversity in the 3 CD's maybe distracts some. it's not playing safe, which i like. looking forward to hardcore nation classics and M.O.S's helter skelter at xmas though.

fair play if some people are not into my mix.
you cant please everyone. not a problem.

hmmm, i think for a live mix i do a bloody good job.
after reading your comment i had another listen to my mix and still dont know how you came to your conclusion here. i've been complimented on my mixing on the cd, not only from thousands of ravers by email etc. but by long standing figures in the scene.
do you think i would put my name to some half arsed mixed piece of dross on my first album release?
it may sound to some like i cant take critisism. which would be an unfair assumption. as i said, if you dont like my music then thats cool. it would be shit if everyone liked the same stuff anyhoo. but being 13 yrs behind the decks, then reading that smarted a bit.
peace love and jelly babies to all.
joey

I've already posted about this on another thread but bought this album when it came out but havn't listened to it yet! because I've got loads to listen to! but after reading about your mix will definately be the first I listen to! as an old timer! this is how Hardcore mixes should be! track after track after track! but obviously kids today prefer to listen to a full or near full track! how times have changed! (off to get my zimmer frame!)
