oi oiiiiii! Sounds good man
Very Mid 90's sounding! (Without the trance snyths)

I Fooking LOVE the piano melody! And the amen!
Just, there’s not alot happening with the overall structure!

Overall it’s a great track, just I’ve noticed your suffering from the same problem I was a few weeks back - BAD EQ!!!
Alot of sounds are being drowned out but more importantly your kick... it’s very dull and in the end it makes a very good tune just sound like a big cloud!

If you can, start to use filters to cut off any bass that isn't needed on interments that don't rely on low end (bass)! See… You'll find that every sound and instrument still produces very low and muddy sounds even though you can't here them!

For example, a piano, wouldn’t normally rely on low end would it… but if you filtered though the sound to the low end using say a notch filter, you’d hear very muddy noises…and if you think about EVERY TRACK having them muddy noises… it all adds up in the end and drowns out your kick and bass which just creates this “cloud” over your whole mix!

I think you’re ready for the next step brother here’s some SMACHING resources for you

And For All You FL Studio Lovers Out There! Check This Baby out

^^^ this will explain step by step what I’m talking about

There’s loads more useful ones out there (but not as much as this) but just remember… Google is your friend

Start reading up, and studying a little! Don’t worry, I had to do it all too as I had the same problem a few months back! But it’s very important stuff to know and great for achieving that "pro" sound!

It may set you back at first (it bloody did me) as it sinks in that you really are limited to what you can do with music! But then after a bit of trail & error – you pick up on it, and it all just comes natural!

Some of the guides I’ve found around the net, highlight the very problem I’m sure many producers have... you know when your at that point where you try panning & turning things up and down in the mix, BUT NOTHING SEAMS TO WORKS!!!

Say no more EQ is to blame!

And I’d defo recommend tweakheads - ****ING FANTASTIC WEBSITE!!! (I’ve learnt shed loads from it!)

needs to exist more in the Stereo field.

simplest way to really widen a lead, (wich is >/= Phatten)

is to send half to the left, half to the right and detune/modulate each side just abit differently.

sometimes can be done with only the one synth if its good enough, or just use 2 instances.

and get ur piano spreading out (pan each note), not too much though :)

as i said on msn tho, i like it lots :)

Yeh, what the other guys have said.

Also, the repetition of the four chord structure is a bit much.

Straightline it for a bit.

Lots of potential though.

Wow, great track. Love the energy and overall sounds used! But, as its been said, EQ needs work. My only criticism is that some of the breaks are flat out undanceable... some of the breaks just make the dancers look at the dj and go "huh?"

Can't WAIT for ver. 2!

Some Nice Ideas, in there.GOOD TUNE!!

Now

The main thing has been stated EQ.Try and have clean sounds going in first, its always best to touch as little EQ as possible.

Throw a high pass filter over the breakz that will give them more room in the sub area.

Tip I always use, Mono both Kick and Bass as that will free up some space in the mix(this helps the Kick and bass cut thru better on a Club System).

Dont be afraid to pan instruments and percussion but not to much again this is to give the overall mix more space.

Now with the lead, I would half agree with Xtarsia said, I would pan Some leads but I would make sure there is a mono lead layered in there too as this will hep the overall sound of the leads cut thru better on the mix.

This is all my Opinion as Music production is all opinion basedHope it helps you out.

All the Best
XL
