Im new to producing, still learning with FL studio. I want to get the bass like the ones used in hardcore tracks like style and breeze such as Save me from darren and Your Shining. Can any here tell me where I can get it or how I can create one.

just layer your bass and if you want the actual bass from one of those songs get the midi and copy the bottom keys and then get it in key with the melody then layer it ;)

^^^ Erm no.

That Gammery style bass comes from two places - the PowerCore01 synth and/or EnergyPro mini vst.

Its basically two detuned saw waves. Its not complex, just ridiculously phat.

To use the powercore synth you need to buy the powercore DSP hardware I think..

you can make that sound on most decent vst synths
like orbit said play around with detuning 2 or 3 saw waves
and were possable put up the voices on your synth and detune them aswell
this is posable with
Vanguard
Minimoog
Minimogue VA
And Even Sytrus (it's in Fl Studio)

this rule works well with most sounds that sound weak or lack balls
once you have done that play around with a compressor on it
if you are just getting started try putting a fruity compressor on it after and select the preset drum's ............
Hear the diffrence but formillarise your selfe with the compressor (not just the fruity one) compresion is one of the 3 most important things in making a tune sound Pro (good)
along with E.Qing & Mix Down (Getting all your level to sit right i.e. so sounds too loud)

a tip for mixing down ............
Keep your master at - 3db (if you have just started using fl i imagin that your db meter is still set to that dogy scale you can change it in the menu options, General settings)
and while u are doing that have u turned up your buffer length this makes a big diffrence to the amount of samples/Vst's u can play at once

i hope this helps u on your way
have fun

P.S.
A High pass filter (HPF) Dosent make sound it takes them away and at best add's Resonance

Forget about Styrus and get something nice and raw like Z3ta+. Put a few saws on the oscs, detune some upwards and some downwards. i'd double up the octaves aswell.
B&S basses are basically huge phat trance synths on low notes with a sub bass layered over. :)
also goddamnit nailbiter, stop whoring that cd.
