just won £100 tonight on the thunderball (first 4 numbers came up and started to shit myself) definately my biggest win, so anyone do any good on the lottery? and whos going for the £120,000,000 this Friday?

my dad 100% won when we was in ireland, then when he took his ticket in they said he won 6euro so i think he were conned
i won the jackpot once but it hasnt changed me

The lottery has been going for about 11 years now, so if you bought a ticket every week since it started it would have cost you about £570 altogether.
So if you haven't won more than that amount altogether, you haven't won anything at all.

hmm the most i ever won was prob like $10 on an instant scratchie... although i keep telling my mum who plays like every week that on the amount of money she has paid on lottery tickets, if she had just saved that money all these years she would have her own jackpot by now haha... but i think the most she has ever won was close to 2 grand.... the parents of a kid i went to school with won 3 million and my old boss won 10 grand on an instant scratchie. some ppl have all the luck. paul may your winning be the beginning of a lucky streak :)

isnt lotto the WORST way to gamble for money? ive been told by my maths teacher that youre expected to only win back 70%? (i forgot the exact figures) of what you actually bet with
craps and blackjack pay better (85%? i think)

Never actually thought about it that way, but you're right.
Thankfully i've never bothered to buy one, the odds of you winning are against you really.

think thats a different form of gambling, the lotto odds are mega higher than casino odds but you will never get someone popping into a casino once a week and putting £1 on number 32 and then leaving if it loses! the reason for lotos is -its a dream but someone will win!
