Been mixin with vinyls for near on 5 years now and have finally succumb to the fact that i am goin to have to turn to the digital darkside if i am ever goin to get to mix some of those tracks that you just cant get on cd.
Was basically wondering if anyone could recomend a cd deck. The main thing i am concerned about is a decent pitch fader on the thing. I dont care at all for all the extra gadgets that come on the deck, the less the better! Thats why i love the technics so much, they simply have what you need and that that lovely stiff reliable pitch fader that has become such a good friend to me! yes i love them!
So yea basically lookin for a simple cd player with a nice accurate pitch fader that doesnt feel like something wobbly and horrible you get on a beltdrive kam deck or something!

what's your price range?
I'd recommend a pioneer 1000, numark cdx, or one of the newer denons

Same technology in the 800 as the 1000, they were both released simultaneously. Just the 1000 obviously has more features.
