Well i went to the ballet last night, and i love it! I also don't mind a good opera or a decent theater production or a trip to the art gallery. All my mates think its weird that i go raving, listen to hardcore music and do all the fun things in life, yet really can sit and appreciate and feel a good production...
Does anyone here have any thoughts about being interested in two such "different" worlds? Or does anyone else do the same?

I'm a huge fan of the visual arts myself. I love surrealism, dadaism, and pop art!
And the occassional theater or film production is cool too, though dance has always seemed like nonsense to me. I have difficulty believing that moving about in rhythm can express anything.

Not a ballet fan myself but i study and enjoy theatre. I know what you mean about "two different worlds" but you like what you like, they dont have to relate. Hardcore doesn't exactly match my life, or atleast according to some friends, but it doesn't matter. Thats just to do with sterio typing, apparently if i dont own burbery or the latest Cammy ringtone then i know f**k all about hardcore. Thats another problem altogether... Point is, anyone should be able to like the combination of things they do whether they appear to suit the part or not.
And its nice to hear a fan of proper theatre, i feel like its dieing out at times.
