Whats you favorite Freeform tracks from the late 1990s? I think that now Freeform is growing, the older stuff should get more respect like the 1997-2001 Freeform and Trancecore.
My favorites are:
DJ Eclipse- Ultraworld 5 (1996)
Kevin Energy- Future Dimensions part 2 (1998)
Scott Brown- Lost Generation (1999)
Marc Smith- 2 Turntables (1998)
Eclipse vs. Force Mass Motion – Point Zero (1998)
What about everyone else? What do you all think of the old skool Trancecore?

I'm not a massive fan of 'Trancecore' but I thought the following were good tunes:
DJ Fury - Droppin' Bombs (1996)
Bang The Future - Body Slam (1996)
Helix - Noise & Music (1996)
Sharkey & Trixxy - Genesis (1997)

It is more Trancecore than Happy Hardcore. And I agree with Fluffbomb. Freeform and Trancecore is underated and there is loads of good stuff there!

i disagree. older stuff get more respect? why is that so again? new freeform is ALOT better, especially the japanese freeform and finnish, which are the best subgenres/genres out there. my opinion though.
and i agree with dain-ja.

I love alot of new Freeform but the old classics sure our something! I always feel that Freeform is 'going places' yet I havn't really heard much of it outside of the UK.

For me the early 'Trancecore' tracks were a refreshing change to the Happy Hardcore tunes of the time. Labels like JAL & GBT making hardcore tracks with some Trance influences but as they got more and more like fast Trance than hardcore I lost interest. I'm not saying their rubbish just that I'm not into the very trance orientated tunes. But then if I had it my way hardcore would still sound like it did back in '95/96!
