I've been blasting a bunch of schranz and speedcore, and I was wondering, how does one create those awesome off beat noise loops? What sort of programs, vsts, or effects do you make/put a sound through to get those? I've tried modifying white noise and pink noise loops, but they don't sound the same. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

make your usually percussion and add lots of gated reverb fx on things like claps and send that to a bus -> compress the living daylights out of it.

Attack as high as it goes, release all the way down ratio anything from 8:1 and higher is cool and threshold to something silly. Put distortion over the top of this and you're done.

You can go on after that and cut that up and re-arrange and you're cool.

Give camelcrusher a go. Very cool.

Thanks a million! That camelcrusher vst looks sweet too (if only I had a damn clue of making vst's work with Acid 5, but I'll figure it out eventually).

For example, the off beat sound on Disciples of Annihilation's "NYC Speedcore". Atonal, distorted-type sounds for percussion.
