You know that down-tempo, chillout style Hardcore/Freeform that Cloudskipper, CLSM etc. play? Been craving it of late and really want to get some compilations packed to the brim with it, so if anyone can reccommend any such CDs it would be muchly appreciated!

Down tempo freeform? Wouldn't that just be hard dance?

Not really. It's not as slow as Hard Dance, but it's probably a little slower than Hardcore... it's a very unique style though. Songs that leap to mind are CLSM - Drive Away, CLSM - Liberation, Sharkey & Arkitech - Dual Illumination etc. Usually very vocal... and I suppose the feeling of it being down tempo comes a lot from the soft, silky synths and/or vocals.

Yeah they started making tunes inbetween Hard Dance and Freeform speeds so they could mix them in didn't they. I don't think you'll find a CD of just these releases but most of the NU-Energy live etc. CD's have some on 'em.
