Hey people, I've contacted Silver in teh past but had no response (I can only imagine that he's an extremely busy guy!)
Am I entitled to an artist badge next to my name as I have my track on Hardcore Euphoria whichmakes me an artist with a track that's signed and available or does it have to wait till a full Vinyl/MP3 release?
Makes no difference to me to be fair, just a question I was wondering the answer too.

Think it might be a vinyl release... Could be wrong though.

To get a badge i know it needs to link back to an artist profile. A release on an album like that should be enough.
Your release first needs to be added to our database, it then gets put onto your artist profile as one of your releases, then the badge will link to that.
But...
It's been a while since I've seen an update to the database. I'm sure it's in the pipeline for Silver (busy guy I know!) and requires alot of programming time (which I am studying for so hopefully I can be more usefull in the future).

I'm not 100% sure, but I think Silver said it had to be a track on a CD or a vinyl release (MP3 releases don't count because anyone could start selling any old crap just to get a badge)
So I think you should qualify...

The record DB should have similar system then the Events section has. Speaking of experience, with the current amount of new releases, its impossible to keep up. Maby some day we'll get a userbuilt DB system made by NeXuS ;)

I still need alot more experience before I would feel comfortable toying with somthing like that! A members-submition system sounds like an ace idea though. Maybe even a little rating and comments section for each release (can't get ahead of ourselves though heh).
