seen some ads for this type of thing and well wot can I say! When my lads are in there teens I'm still gunna get Hardcore off them! (even if its dead as a dodo) No I'm F**king not into Whitesnake ect! I'm a Hadrcore loving DAD!

My dad is completely incapable of understanding the purpose of music that goes over 150 bpm unless it's liquid funk. I'm getting him "Vulgar Display of Power" by Pantera.

despise my dad whenever it comes to him questioning me about hardcore...
he either call's me a chav, our he stands up n does sum bizare dance what his mates have told him 'we' do at raves where he ends up looking like some sort of animal tryin to climb a ladder (only way i can explain it) , arghhhhhhhh when wil dey learn!
...he's into irish folk, so every time im at his at night i have to sit through an hour session of kayleigh house boradcasted live n if he's had enuff whiskey's he'll attempt to dance :(:(:(
i look forward to the day when my kids have to sit through an hour session of me prancin around the livin room to a live session of the ever aging brisk! :)

Yeah neither of my parents can understand anything that's been made electronically that is over 120BPM.
Funny though isn't it that for as far back that I can remember I do tend to buy the old man a music cd for Christams. That last few I can think of were Police's greatest hits, Eagles greatest hits, Queens greatest hits, Dire Straits greatest hits, Fleetwood Macs greatest hits.......There's a themem here I'm sure! I don't mind I tend to borrow them off him anyway!

I couldn't buy anything for my dad... He has the biggest music collection you could ever imagine so buying for him is impossible as he'll no doubt already have it.

Not really, no. He doesn't despise it though.
My auntie (his sister) loves hardcore though and comes raving with us :)

well i got my dad the JOE SATRIANI live in San Francisco music dvd cause that guy is the worlds greatest guitarist and also the RAINBOW live in Munich 1977 music dvd, the lead singer left and and started DIO there awsom too.
