Who gives a f*ck if it's not hardcore, if there makin good stuff i'll here it and love it.

I'm not loyal to any type of music but uk hardcore and freeform could be seen as part of the hard dance style, the breaks is just as much right to be called hardcore.

I've got nuff old 96 hard trance thats 165-170bpm, we still call it hardtrance though cos not hardcore cos it aint hard.

I'm jus glad to see a style like hardcore breaks with so many options for the future, scotland jus needs its own underground style for the bouncy techno now.

what is your definition of 'hard' and 'hardcore' ?

raver baby stuff?

people (including myself) call that hardcore, but its not exactly hard

may be 'hard' compared to pop or dance though

I agree. Bouncy Techno is my favorite sub genre of Hardcore and it is a shame it has had it's back turned on

Hard is somethin that booms right out my speakers, phat distorted kickdrums or even really raw dnb, doesnt have to fast to be hard some 140bpm techno is about as hard as i've ever heard.

Hardcore to me is a mixture of stuff, i jus call the hard stuff hardcore and others bits i like i call happyhardcore or makina depending on the sound.

Most of it i'd just style as sped up scouse house/ poptrance, liked a couple of there tunes though one of the better uk hardcore labels. Well i like Dj Weaver "Falling into you" and if you took out the fanny saying HTID and all that "Heavens above" would be wkd cheese also.

Fair play i just dont call it hardcore myself mainly cos am into the dutch scene and if you said it's hardcore to them you'd get laughed at

so chris, which artists/songs would you call hardtrance, if they are at 165-170bpm?

stuff like the harder Vagabond tunes (normally aliased under Dreadhed for that type)?

gimme some sound clips :p

also, does anyone have any sound clips to some good bouncy techno tunes? or mixes?

I'm not sure where the links are, but JSPR's mixes that he posted here are great examples of early bouncy techno (it's a bit closer to Rotterdam hardcore, but still bouncy.)

Wouldn't surprise me at all. Quite a few of the newer Hardcore Breaks labels are being distributed by Nu Urban and have been getting a lot of exposure lately. If MoS thought it was the next big thing, they'd definitely put it on an album.

Although, it could also be that it will have some Breakbeat Hardcore on it, which is a completely different animal than Hardcore Breaks.

Fair play! Least you guys show some passion for the scene!
My kid of people! ^^^

As for these so called "Chavs" lol! aaahaha! (What... there f*cking everywhere in this contry!)
Well face it that... what would you rather have... candy... or f*cking TWATS that walk around looking for troble! lol

Candy hands down for me!!
I'd love to see the back of chavs in any scene - they f*cking PISS ME OFF! beond beleaif!!! walking around asif they own the place! and mannn... you always get the hoodyed black crew don't ya! looking you up and down... sucking there teath! (there never there for the party, there there for the hunnys!)

The other thing that not alot of people think about or even talk about for that matter, with these "UK Chavs" is that... yeah yeah, there your best friend while there ****ed off there faces on E!
However... soon as it wares off around 4-5am though... there soon walking around looking for a fight!

ay ;) Thats the UK for ya! Full of Dickheads!

p.s. when i say "CHAV!"
I'm NOT talking trackys and trendy clothes - thats just a sterotype!
I'm talking CHAV!!! - aka the guys that purposley walk around to LOOK for trobble!

Respect to the candy crew - keep it hardcore over there guys!
DO NOT... FOLLOW OUR FOOTSTEPS!!!

WOW! - OFF TOPIC!!! - contuine talking about hardcore breaks (tisss goood shit)
