I'm a bit of a hypocrite, I download films, tv episodes and random tunes. The only reason I don't download hardcore is because I wouldn't do anything to hurt the music.

If artists couldn't make enough money to pay the bills there wouldn't half as much music getting made though...

Must admit I've never even used one... If I want something I buy it.
I don't like the idea of them at all. 95% of my mates use them though.

I personally would rather have someone develop a viable alternative to crap like iTunes and Napster, so kids don't have to pay too much for music and not really have it go to the indie labels and artists. I do download music though, but I really only do so because I can't really make the money to buy all the stuff I want, and probably will buy later on in my life. I usually save my purchasing power for really awesome stuff, like Hardcore Underground, and stuff that I know is going towards cool music and cool people that need the money. That and I have no problem with somewhat high prices to get into events. I'd pay for a show any day, and would probably consider seppuku if I snuck into one.
