started cataloging (i.e. recording, mastering and mp3'ing) my recs about a week or two ago. i figure there's a lot of good stuff in there that i dont listen to anymore since i quit mixing & buying chunes. i mean lets face it, standing around matching beats is boring and the stuff turned into fast trance five or so years ago

anyways, just curious if anyone else does this. when i first started, i used to record all my new chunes to listen to them on the fly so i could get a feel for them. if you dont, i might recommend it. either way, you get to listen to your favs when you dont have a turntable on hand.

I have friends that have recorded most of their tunes to cd and sold a good portion of their vinyl to get money or because they quit djing.
