JBL TR225
Ive been offered a pair @ 500 quid inc amp both in good nick, what are your thoughts on the price + the speakers themselves?

They are decent speakers. I have used them fairly often as two of my friends have pairs. I'd always go over any second hand speakers/amps with a fine tooth comb though mate... Test them for a reasonable length of time at a high continuous output.
Any git can say there stuff is in good nic...

he lives @ the other end of the country, almost a 14 hour round trip :(
my plan was to get these to hire out to pay off my mackies, it pains me to take them out of the house 
he seems like a fairly genuine guy, he is selling his decks and mixer with the speakers but said he would split and sell the speakers seperate,
do you think it would be worth a punt?
