In "95_was_the_time" defense, he hasn't broken any rules, you might not like what he has to say but we don't ban people on difference of opinion. Relentless topics and spamming after repeated warnings will get you banned.
Adding to that, I've seen many forums where it's easier for the moderators of the site to ban / delete controversial people and topics than have them start a big conversation / arguments. While we don't like the arguments I wont censor just because it makes the admins / moderators job's easier. The only expection to the rule is personal attacks on other members, blantant spam, double posts, hate talk, etc... where we will delete posts.
