I asked this last year and over the last year there has been little change in Hardcore (correct me if i'm wrong) What does 2007 hold for the Hardcore and Rave scene? Will Bouncy Techno see a come back or will we just see more 'updated' remixes of 'Set you Free' and 'Your shineing'?

Little more vocal offerings from Hixxy, DS and Breeze I would guess.
As long as there is a Hardcore Undeground Vol 2 + 3 07 will be sweet. *nudge nudge CDJay*

Well, I think you can rest easy.
Hardcore in 2007 will sound a lot like it did in 2006, except w/ a few notable new talents coming further into their own and with a platform for their efforts.
This platform is only as good as it's foundation, and I'm fairly sure that w/ HU we've proved there is at least a motivated informed underground base. Gotta crack that casual market a bit to really shake things up tho.....
Over to y'all ;)

Meh, if I have my way 2007 will be the year hardcore embraces it's many facets and combines them into a sparkly jewel instead of everyone setting up their own coal mine.

thats the stupidest question ive ever read. how the hell can you predict or "know" what MUSIC will sound like in near future? you wrote HARDCORE, do you know how many subgenres are in hardcore? too many, and you cannot say what they would all be like. this isnt like a fashion wear, where new DC pants get released and boom theres isnt a single 15 year old chav who isnt wearing them. sure you can possibly say hixxy/darren will become more commercial than ever, while twisted freq will (hopefully) bring us more dark, sick freeform. but you cant say "oh hardcore will become more happy and vocal-ish fo' sho!".
you could write a BIBLE on what they (composers) could possibly be producing.
rant off

^^^ I think that was the point of this topic, to delve into the different sounds that might be conjured up. Actually a neat topic from smoogie =P
Seems like the whole TNC vibe is getting really big, I'd reckon it morphs into like a "If robbie long and recon/squad-e had a baby..." sound taking the limelight though with everything else still going on.

In 2007, UK Hardcore will be riddled with donk basslines.
