How good quality are they. I've download some of the free ones n they sound shite. I know the ones you paid for are better but are they gonna sound shit when mixed with my vinyl?

ive downloaded some that are 320kbps.. most are 192 i think, but thats excellent quality..

I use imodownload tracks in my mixes, and sometimes they are sort of bad quality. But, it's more important to get your levels right in the mix so that it works with the vinyl and doesn't sound awkward.
The sound quality is 192 kbps on imodownload, and most of the tracks I've gotten have been fine, but not as good as 320 kbps.

most of the tracks on imodownload have been ripped from vinyl (well almost all of the old ones)
the new ones seem to be ok..
i only use imo if there is a track on there that isnt on nuenergy, their site is so much better + you get 320kbps!

No they weren't, they were taken off DAT

I think the notice NuEnergy has on their sites says alot about that... well used to
"All tracks are sourced from DAT, when possible"

Then you got ripped off - that's unnaceptable and nobody should be selling that.
I know a few label owners and tehy all told me their mp3s were taken for DAT so I'm surprised people would be sketchy enough to do that (especially since most labels keep DAT copies of everything).

also depends on how good the producers are running hte label since anyone can run them.
Some got ripped form vinyl like the older KF stuff as DAT copies didn't last/got lost over the last decade. Can't you fix the pops in audition or sound forge though?
