I guess I just assumed that <i>while theyre mixing didnt make sense because why the hell would you turn the bass to max in the mix - that would sound horrible
and it also didnt make sense because hes just saying that but the way hes saying it talks about only one channel - surely if he meant while mixing he would have said what he does with both channels
either way, EQs shoudl change tons in the mix (I mean, at least for the bassline switch even if youre a noob) so it wouldnt make sense to describe just one channel and ONE EQ setting since it would change according to your point in the mix (and youd have to talk about both channels)
