Happens all the time mate!
and if a half semi pro does a remix of a well known hardcore artists's tune (bounce + breeze and styles - sonic as an eg. ((part of it is actually a rip of a trance tune!!)) get abuse and threats for doing it
nothing you can do apart from ignore it mate, well, you could report it, but that would leave you with shit on your nose

So it piss's me off for them not to be credited!
I mean if that was your work you wouldn't be best pleased would you!
Not just that, but noob hardcore ravers come into the scene thinking that hardcore is the orignal founders of this music!
(hey there was a time i used to think that  ahaha) when it isn't!
I mean a few years ago, hey... turn a blind eye!
But come on... hardcore breaking out these days and is more acceptable in the mainsteam world! - Soooo having saying that, i would of though artist would have sat back and thought a little about what there about to send out into the public demain!...
Bit of homework and a nice friendly email to the original artist goes along way
Or... you could just make something NEW! all together...
Give hardcore back its "original" feel
I don't know about you guys but stuff like this really makes me feel shit about hardcore man! i hate seeing artist do this...

Matt Darey is credited on the record label, so is Alison Wade.
Neon Lights are Jon Langford & Steve Hill who also go by the name of Mr. Bishi or Volts Wagen.

the original voltsawagen remix of olive was called olives n feta, an featured the orig vox i think, the neon lights remix had the vox re-recorded i think, it was crap, so glad i got a copy of the voltswagen one.

The vox would have to be re-recorded otherwise it would be a remix not a cover.

This is coming out on my label, the track is a legit cover version of the song, if you read the credits on the label it credits the writers of the song and their publisher's (ie. Matt Darey collects the publishing royalities for this tune). This is the same for any cover track.

The original is better IMO, we dodn't need a trancy Hardcore remix! And on discogs Neon Lights havn't relesed anything since 1994! Your not alone by Olive came out around 1997.
