Heard the odd track or two - just sounds like computer game music to me, well, the tracks I heard anyway. Couldn't even tell you a name, from the Alice's Emotion label I know that much.

considering he has the most releases on Alice emotion, I guess he runs it :P

anyways, I got 4 CD's from Alice Emotion, 2 from the Mother (Earthbound games), 1 from Final Fantasy and one from an Anime

Don't you if you've heard any of it but Omega Force also does some really good gabber stuff under the name Teranoid.

REDALiCE makes what's called 'doujin music', fan-made arrangements of music from video games and anime. The doujin music scene has become quite popular in Japan and for some reason very affiliated with hardcore. All of the releases on REDALiCE's label (with exception to the first few, now-deleted releases) are doujin albums.

Another notable new talent is Minamotoya (源屋), whose style is quite UK-sounding. Here's a clip of one of his recent tracks, Blue Sky with vocalist Ayumi Komiya:

DJ Shimamura is without a doubt one of my favourite Japanese producers, certainly world-class quality stuff! Though recently he's been producing music for erotic PC games, haha...

Also, I am saddened that no one's mentioned Buzzmasta. :(

That would explain why it sounds like computer game music then

And yeah, Buzzmasta is pretty good from what I've heard, and Samination - REDALiCE does own Alice's Emotion - I've still no idea which cd it was I heard though.
