Just bought B.O.B. from HMV, i'm about to stick it on and have a listen to the first disk. The CD cover looks really good, new design too (you'll see when you get it). Anyone else made the purchase!?

I like CD 's 1 & 2, but 3 is pretty weak in my opinon. Scott Brown really should have put more effort into compiling his disk.

Had a listen to most of CD 1 apart from the ruffneck classics at the end, and so far, it's excellent. Some awesome hhc tracks and also nice to hear some material i'd not previously heard, unlike Sharkey or SB's mix where i've heard near enough every single track. Promising so far.

After a few listens I have to say Hixxy and Re-con own this compilation! Some nice classics on here I havn't heard before like Deep in the Underground, Now whos in control, Reactor and The Future, all of which have hard beats! I was expecting their mix to start off with a few Happy Hardcore classics and then progress into Upfront, although this has to be one of his best mixes since his Old Skool Killa Kuts on Bonkers 13 (Hardcore Horror Show)
Sharkey and Druid's mix had some nice Old Skool Trancecore classics and some new stuff on there!
Scott Brown's mix is the most Upfront with a bit of Gabber, so not really my thing!!!

I expected much better than this to be honest, Hixxy + Recon cd sucks ass, the first half of the Druid and Sharky sucks aswell but the cd gets better as it goes along. I agree that Scott Brown should have picked his songs more wizely but still, not that bad a cd just getting fed up of the same songs getting remixed over and over. Im thinking it was a waste of £11 but ah well.

Packaging
OH WOW!...nice one resist! brilliant cartoon cover, nice & brite, holographic AGAIn but y'know. Not diggin the paper sleeves though.
DISC 1
This was pretty cool, there was some excellent choonidge on this disc loved some of the older stuff that i'de really made the album for me, although quite a selection wernt bonkers tracks & for a best of BONKERS compilations...thts essential.
DISC 2
Well this owned! i have listened to it almost 3 time know the remix of Toy Town priceless BUT it wasnt completly new, was just amix of the orignal mix & the nodyd n big ears mix! again some massive choonidge goign on here and more Bonkers tracks which is what i was looking forward to seeing.
DISC 3
Scott Brown! scott brown, scott brown!! what did you do? there were some brilliant tracks on this all if not most of them were from his bonkers mix's BUT he should have chossen better ones, this mix was not a BEST for me although i LOVED hearing B*****D/A*****E.
overall reaction, the album was brill but it could have used a bit more planing out, & Better DJS, Hixxy Yes, Sharkey Yes, Druid HELL YEAH recon 7 scott Brown..NO....Resist you should have got Sy & Dougal back!

I've finished off listening to the Hixxy & Re-Con CD and did not really enjoy Re-Con's half. Maybe i'll get into it after a few listens but the first half of the mix owned.

I like it alot. Loads of the older really happy hardcore classics which is nice. Yeah Scott Brown's mix is a bit samey, but the gabba tracks at the end are awesome. Even the box is cool.
BTW Does anyone know where I can get hold of Earthquake on vinyl?

How do you know which DJ mixed whick tracks?
Back to back? I thought that meant one DJ mixes the first half and the other the second half? I know that Re-con did those ruffneck classics at the end because he mentioned it on a website a month back.

Very surprised that "Bang - Shooting Star" wasn't on any of the cds..
That song could be make or break for some buyers, me including!!!
