Liquid NRG? He's a fraudulent douche bag.
You really shouldn't associate with people who rip others off like he does.

Vocals get a bit drowned out and the pattern of the lead doesn't complement the pattern of the vocals. decent production though and ideas overall, just need to make everything gel.

Dain-Ja...i'm not sure what you are talking about o_0
RAVER7, actually this started off as an instrumental work, but when we layed the vocal on top of the pads, we found it meshed kinda nice :)
Milo, thanks for the advice, I might be restructuring the melody to make it mesh a lil nicer :)

sample has been updated...due to my lack of transport in recent months, i haven't been able to get together with Liquid NRG to work on stuff, but i recently got my wheels back so hopefully we can finally finish this track. Let me know what you think thus far :)

Idea is there,
This is what I would do:
Get rid of the kick, and work on that main lead, there is too much high frequencies coming out of that lead, pointless eqing either fix it in the synth or just pick a new sound that works better with the track
One distinct thing the track is missing is Bass. Its the backbone of the track I would get it sorted first and go from there.
Would take alook at sidechaining compression!! Will help you out. Add some percussion , will help bring the track together.
Best of Luck
Gary

Read this: http://www.hulla.info/board/showthread.php?t=18298&page=6 Start at Page 6 and read all 20something Basically the douche bag you associate sold a bunch of records to alot of different people and never sent any of them. He's a douche. He's been pulled from lineups at a bunch of parties now, so at least he's finally getting what he deserves.
