hi im a 19 year old raver who LOVES HAPPY HARDCORE....the problem is the scene is slowing down (may i say dead) which is upsetting because the trance doesnt quite cut it for me
PHUUULLLEAAASE if anyone in australia knows of any events post them please!

It is not dead that is for sure, I have been to events in Australia, sometimes the event does not play happy hardcore in the main room but it is always there and the room is always full. Where do you live in Australia so I can post some events for you.

i stay in melbourne (uni) but my parents live in tasmania
frequent both locations

Tasmania I would have to say there is no happy hardcore there, Sydney is mad for happy hardcore. Melbourne has happy hardcore parties, if you feel there is not enogh hardcore at them you should contact the promotors and tell them that or better still make a party yourself and have it happy hardcore only, if you like it I am sure there are a bunch of other people that think the same.

oh man, melbourne hardcore scene has to be growing, i heard hard kandy was doing hardcore nights now right? it's been a while since i was there, but the record shops were stocking hardcore and it was getting a good response

well, happy is right in a way. The happyness is well, not as there.
But thats not to say that hardcore is gone. Check out - overdrive.com.au, mksydney.com. They are Sydney based, but useful none the less.
