I heard from a friend that it has some problems with the timing! (Final Scratch)
Don't know if the Scratch Live has the same problems... =/

Nope, there are no timing problems. Even at the highest latency setting (you can change the latency for slower PCs and Laptops), it's almost instant response. Highest latency is 20ms which is pretty good. Lowest is theoretically 1ms but it's probably around 4-5ms. I've got it at the lowest setting and i'll tell ya, there's no timing problems, lag or whatever.
I hope that's what you meant by timing problems.
If it's about the song and the pitch recognition and such, that's 100%. It even shows you the % change when you turntable drifts. They also have a Master Tempo they just implemented and Serato is known in the production industry for it's excellent plug in Pitch n Time and they used that to implement into Scratch Live. Unfortunately, it's pretty much only effective up til +/-4% and after that you can start hearing discrepencies in the sound as if it was too good, it'd slow down computers and cause crashes which are not ideal for gigs.
I could keep going on about Scratch Live. I heart the program!
