I'm sure this topic has been done a few times. However, this one is a little different. You must answer all the questions and own at least 3 Bonkers albums to participate.
I'm highly curious.
Questions:
1.) How many Bonkers albums do you own?
2.) Who in your opinion do you think overall makes the best BONKERS mixes, and why do you think you enjoy them the most?
3.) Name your second favorite and the rest in decending order and why they are in that order
I'll start it off.
1.) I own 7 Bonkers albums.
2.) Dougal has always ended up making my favorite mixes. I think it's because his songs have the happiest sound and great melodies. I think his one downfall is he can go a little overboard with the female vocals on some of his mixes. I might be wrong, but it seems when you guys discuss Bonkers albums on here, most of his mixes go unoticed?
3.) My second favorite would be Scott Brown. He always has slamming drums/bass and has many great melodies. After that, it's almost a draw. I would say maybe Hixxy. Most of Hixxy's stuff doesn't blow me away, but it isn't crappy either. However, Sharkey has many good discs but a few that are lackluster. It seems he's been growing on me though.
I'd love to hear your opinions. Thanks.

1. I have all them [ALL ORIGINALS 1 - Best Of]
2. Sharkey does the best mixes. Always plays massive tunez, gives a nice variety of Freeform [Trancecore], Breakbeat, Old Skool etc.
3. Scott Brown just love the hard as nails sound he choices. The only reason hes second choice is because he always plays his own label tunez & plays too many remixes of his songs eg. Commence, This is how we do it & Neckbreaker.

1.) How many Bonkers albums do you own?
All 17, big fan
2.) Who in your opinion do you think overall makes the best BONKERS mixes, and why do you think you enjoy them the most?
Hixxy, for two reasons. First is that he knows what songs to pick for his mixes (in my opinion anyway, and i think he's a mediocore DJ really, but like i say he knows what sounds good!) and secondly because he's featured on nearly every single Bonkers, and done a damn good job!
3.) Name your second favorite and the rest in decending order and why they are in that order
Scott Brown, for exactly the same reason as what mr_dom_uk put. A close second though.

1.) All 17 original releases, Re-issue of 3 , Silver editions of 1 & 3 & 2 & 3 on cassete. Oh & a Bonkers 2 promo cassete & bonkers 14 promo CD.
2.) Hixxy would have to be my Fav DJ on the discs he always has the best selection of tunes & they mix very well.
3.) Scott Brown (Love the gabber), Sy, dougal (always good for the bouncy choons) & Sharkey im not over gone on a few of his mixes but he has some killer choons.

1) 12
2) DJ Dougal, I love the cheese!
3) A tie between Hixxy & Scott Brown, Gott have my HHC Anthems, but then again, gotta have a more varied sound.
