Im not really sure of what styles of hardcore there is...
UK hardcore (=UK freeform?), what is that exactly?
Please give an example of a known track, and happy hardcore, please give another known example...
and Hardcore, is it synonym to gabber?

in the north east theres a spanish version we use. its called makina. its quite similar to uk hardcore but some of it is more vocaly biased and more trancy too. if your interested in checking some of this out go to www.ravers-central.co.uk and check out the audio on there.

Depends which way you look at it... Not really though. A Gabber is someone who listens to Hardcore.
Hardcore is Rotterdam Records, Terror Traxx, Neophyte Records etc etc.
UK hardcore is Raver Baby, Essential platinum, Quosh etc etc.
Freeform is labels like Nu-Energy, Bonkerz, Digital Beats etc etc.
Happy Hardcore is the older cheese from the nineties.

Pigeon holing music also leads to people being less open minded. The less sub genres you have the better.

The less sub genres you have the better.
nah, I disagree, it allows for easier identification of someones musical prefs imo. but in order for it to work there have to be good reason for something to be named dfferently from the rest of course. otherwise it's gonna get rediculous.
