What collection of albums would you say are essential fot the hardcore listener to own? Interesting to see what people come up with :)

nah, personally I'd actually say Happy2bHardcore chapter 6 (starts counting how many flamings I'm gonna get now) or Bonkers 8 or Bonkers 9.
for any unmixed CD's, then you should try to get RFUCD001 - An Introduction to Climatic Changes (?) with some good tracks, check around IMO Records, they use to have lots

A fine selection. I also liked Bonkers 15.
My favourite hardcore CD is Happy Hardcore Volume 3: DJ Storm & Euphony, also knowns as "That's What I Call Hard Core" in the USA.
It was done in 2004, so its not super fresh, but it basically represents what hardcore is all about. Its got some vocal slammers, some wicked ravey bits, and some cheeky rips, all flowing with energy and beautifully put together.

anyone forgetting that you have to have hardcore tunez 3 in there hhc's release of a cd silvers mix is shit hot.plus all new recent compilations r crap i think bonkers 15 was the last cd i actually paid pounds for,so go back from when that was released and then your talking good cd's
