sound quality ain't that good, with the hissing and what not
try looking in the usual places, i remember getting a few of his sets from 'livesets online.com' at least 1 i know for sure was recorded of his radio show
if all else fails i will be happy to upload it but believe me the sound quality is very poor i only had a listen as i ain't heard him spinning the hhc for a while

Always like kutski! think hes the type of DJ we need (not tied to labels ect) which enables him to play the tracks he likes and just the ones he needs to push! his mixing is class aswell!

Very true when i think about it most the sets i listen to are by dj's like that.
Kutski, Thumpa, Freestyle, Haston, Bounceman then older dj's like HMS, Lofty, Lenny Dee etc
All kinda mash up loadsa tracks by diff artists and dont just push there own labels and big tunes.
Keeps it fresh and exciting i think and i agree that production talent shouldnt = dj bookings, should be the best dj's

totally agree its not the music! even UK stuff has loads of cracking tunes! its just the way at big events now(and for the last few years) It is a case of release our tracks on comps and then we'll play them at events! becase thats what they've heard! boring as f**k! but same in europe aswell! we need more "DJ's" not producers!

Disagree there mate. In the dutch mainstream things can be stale and has a lot of bad points we see over here.
But take for example lads like smurf, a brittish dj who yes makes a couple of tunes. But his name was made by his dj'ing and style, plays out in thunderdome, smurfenland and allsortsa massive events bigger than any hardcore over here.
Sure sawyers been booked abroad aswell and doesnt produce, infact a lot of britains best dj's are gettin booked abroad and only playin wee venues here.
In spain is all about dj's, full on turntablists on as many decks as possible, no MC's and being a good producer doesnt get you bookings.
Ruboy for example an amazing producer for years now, never see him on flyers in spain cos they leave people like P+B, Tracker and co to mash up the music.
So is only really uk hardcore and mainstream dutch stuff that has this problem of dj's jus playin there own stuff for a full hour.

Aye anno what you mean mate.
We've got some excellent events over here, especially recently been gutted i cant get out more often the HARDcore nights are doin well.
But for big events our lads need to look abroad really, big raves in europe you'll get booked on talent whether your from holland, germany, france, uk, usa or wherever. I like the wee back rooms in raves or small events but goin to holland it does make me a bit jealous of how good they've got it.
Bein honest though the last thing i want is for the harder scene to change itself to get more fans and become a lot of shit, way things are musically and crowd i really enjoy it and dont want it to change to be like the mainstream dutch or uk hardcore has.
But when smurf quotes things like "played infront of 20,000 people in the SMALL room at thunderdome" you realise that even the more experimental and wild hardcore has a big following there.

Kutski is a breath of fresh air. Not afraid to mix & blend. There can be producer's who a Dj who mix & blends. Sadly as mentioned in the thread most dont. I can see why most dont ie they want to promote there own material and raves are the ideal place to do so esp the big ones. Respect to the one's that do mix things up be it labels or styles, its a shame more dont get the bookings as it would make for more interesting line-ups.
